The Department of Water Resources held its 3rd meeting to exchange ideas on developing engineering application programs for the upper Mekong, Yom, and Nan river basins.
(Third meeting for exchanging ideas) On September 7, 2026, the Department of Water Resources assigned Ms. Supatson Seemued, Director of the Regional Water Resources Office 1, to chair the meeting.
The 3rd meeting for exchanging ideas on the project to develop engineering application programs in the upper Mekong, Yom, and Nan river basins was opened by Ms. Pannaporn Suwan, a specialist in the field.
The Water Resource Management System presented a report at a meeting held in Chiang Rai Province and via Zoom. The purpose of the meeting was to present project progress and gather feedback from agencies and stakeholders.
The aim is to develop a program to support the permitting and control of public water resource use, including an analysis of water balance and adequacy in the area, with approximately 100 participants.
